Shannon Lasater, MA (Outpatient Clinician)

Shannon provides counseling services to adults and adolescents. She specializes in helping individuals recover from eating disorders, body dysmorphia, anxiety, addictions, and sleep problems.

Shannon has personally struggled with eating, body image, and anxiety, so she can relate to many of these experiences. She has nearly 15 years of experience helping individuals have a healthy relationship with food.

Additionally, as a Stepmom, Shannon understands the challenges of navigating the role of step-parent and the difficulties of parenting in general. She can provide support in finding effective ways to parent or step-parent in your unique family situation, as well as balance caring for others with caring for yourself.

Shannon resides in Kansas with her husband, a dog, and three children, (two step kids who are teenagers and a son who is in elementary school).

Shannon loves singing, zumba class, and having coffee with friends. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, and is a certified health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
